Shandong
Head Office of Automobile Industry is
a Provincial economic organization approved by Shandong Provincial
Government. It's authorized the management function of automobile
and motorcycle industry of the whole province. Of the comprehensive
function of production and management, scientific research and development,
staff training, capital circulation, foreign trade and information
service etc., it's in charge of planning and programming, policy
guide and in-line service of more than 200 enterprises in the province.
Through foreign cooperation organized by Shandong Association of
Automobile Manufacturers, the company has attracted merchants and
capital, reinforced technology service and exchange, accelerated
civil science and technology exchange of automobile between countries.
The company is also devoted to strengthening of itself while accelerating
development of the industry. There are 9 subsidiaries now, which
are all production and manufacture enterprises, including 2 entire
car manufacture enterprises, 1 refit car manufacture enterprise
and 6 parts & accessories enterprises. It's of the annual production
capacity of 50,000 light-duty trucks, 8,000 refit cars and automobile
parts and accessories of 1 billion yuan. Now there are over 8,900
staff in the company and the total capital is 2.61 billion yuan.
Main products are light-duty truck, refit car, farm truck, tractor,
driving axle, automobile gear, engine conrod, automobile brake valve,
automobile armor plate spring, automobile circular spring, thermoregulator,
thermoswitch, engine oil pressure alarm and sensor etc. The market
occupation rate of refit cars is No.1 in China, that of thermoregulator
and thermoswitch is also No.1 in China, that of automobile brake
valve is No.2 in China, that of driving axle is No.2, that of automobile
armor plate spring is No.4 and that of ligh-duty trucks is No.6
in China. In 2002, the company has accomplished gross industrial
output value of 2.19 billion yuan, profit payments and tax turnover
of 130 million yuan and import and export value of 22 million USD.
Cooperating with Korean Daewoo Company, the company founded the
jont venture of Shandong Daewoo Automobile Parts & Accessories
Company in 1999, which is engaged in production of chassis system
of saloon cars. Main products are parts and accessories assembly
of sallon car redirector, brake, air conditioner, suspension system
etc. Shandong Daewoo Automobile Parts & Accessories Company
has also become an automobile parts and accessories production base
of large investment, high grade and advanced technology in China.
In the face of strategic system establishment of joint venture,
cooperation and joint development in automobile industry after entering
WTO and fierce automobile market competition, the company would
